| About Nasiono |
|
Nasiono Records came into being as an initiative of friends-musicians who wanted to publish and promote alternative sounds of the Tricity (Gdansk, Sopot, Gdynia) in Poland.
After the break-up of a collective record company Salut Records [2005-2008], some of its creators decided to focus their energy on Nasiono Records which, as an independent label, promoted such projects as Prawatt, Datadisk or Karol Schwarz All Stars. Nasiono Records dates back to 1998 when the first maxi single by Podzespol Podzielic - was released. Apart from the original version the single comprised of various remixes by Wieloryb, Karton (Marcin Karczewski now playing in London’s After Punk) and some other related artists. One of the farhers-creators was Piotr Jachi Jachowicz (constructor/designer of electronic instruments and Prawatt’s founder) came up with the logo and invented the Label s Name. Next releases by this semi-official label appeared occasionally. Nasiono Records logo was used on COIL’s Bootleg by Jachi with the material from a concert in St. John’s Church - as well as on some Karol Schwarz All Stars records. Nasiono Records opens the new season with an EP - Rambo I Bocian - by Datadisk. You can download free mp3 s from our website www.nasiono.net which will be updated on a regular basis. |
